R. J. H. Band Booster Page

We are in business again!
Come and join us!!!
WHAT DOES IT TAKE TO BE A BAND BOOSTER?
1.  A desire to support your school band program and students.
2.  One meeting per month.
3.  A couple of phone calls per month at the most!
4.  Fundraiser brainstorming.
5.  Fundraising support - minimal.
6.  What time that you can spare - any amount at all is sufficient.
BOOSTER MOTTO:
"What can I do to help?"
The next RJH Band Booster meeting is     in the Band Room at Roy
Jr., 7:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.  Please use the North doors to enter the
school.  All others will be locked.

WE NEED YOUR HELP!!!

A couple of years ago, We started the
Roy Junior High School Band Parents
Association
which has been successful in helping support the band programs at Roy
Junior. We can use your help supporting and helping to build our band programs.

If you are interested, please call Kay Robinson at 773-8307 (Band Booster President)
or e-mail her at
itskayr@aol.com.

NEEDED:  Your continued help and support by:
1. Join the Razorback Band's Booster Club.

2. Donate any instruments just sitting around, not being used.  There are several people who
would
LOVE to be in band, but due to unfortunate circumstance, just can not afford it.  This
would help our Band Program by having increased band membership and give someone a
chance to be a part of an organization that will give them skills and experiences that will benefit
them their entire lives.

3.
Donate $$$!  If you just happen to have some $$$ just sitting around...we would be happy
to put it to good use repairing school instruments,  buying new instruments, purchasing music
technology for
student use, saving enough to go on tour.  (And to those of you who have
heard my
"Tour Story" yes, I would still take my band on tour if it is affordable.)

Remember, when you help us, you also help the "Pride Of Roy", Roy High School's
Band Program!! This is where you sons and daughters will continue their
Band
Experience.

                  GO ROYALS!!!!

GO RAZORBACK'S!!!!

Questions and answers about us:

WHAT DO WE DO?  We help support our band program at Roy Junior High School by
coming up with fun and exciting ways to raise $$$$ for the band program.  This money is used
for buying instruments, repairing some older school instruments, buying/replacing music for
the students,
helping to improve the educational conditions for our students in the band
program so they can have the best learning experience in band as possible.
We are new
and as we continue to build the Band Booster Program, we will enjoy new projects as they
arise

HOW CAN YOU HELP?  Join us! (Contact Kay Robinson at itskayr@aol.com or call
801- 773-8307 for more information). The more the better!  We can always use more help,
ideas and suggestions.  It is more like a club with many fun possibilities to help our students in
their education and band experience.  Also, there are three other ways listed above.

USED INSTRUMENT DRIVE:
Do you have any instruments( in any condition) laying around that you aren't using?
Donate them to our RJH Band program! Pass the word along to friends and relatives.
Donations are tax deductible.  Call Kay at 801-773-8307 for instructions or pick up.  You
could also drop them off at either Roy High or Roy Jr. High.

We would like to thank the parents that came to the March Band Booster meeting.  We
appreciate these volunteers and their fund-raising ideas.  We still need new and inactive
members for brainstorming and support.  Our next Band Booster meeting is
