Dear Former  R. J. H. Band Students,

We had a BLAST together.  What wonderful and special memories that will enrich all of our lives and
will help us through some of our rough times ahead.  I really do miss you.  Thank you for helping me,
the community, Roy Jr., each other and our Band Program here at R. J. H.

Thank you for taking band!   I hope that what you have learned will help you somewhere in your lives
ahead.  And that you will pass on some of that magic that you made with your band mates here, to
others who have not had the privilege that you have had by being in a band.  A band that became a
family.

When you came through my band room doors, you came to be in
my band.  Then with hard, but fun
work, you helped to turn the band into
our band.  And then something very special happened.......you
turned
our band into your band.  An accomplishment that does not happen often and was a lofty goal
that I had hoped you would reach.  You did!  And I am very proud of your efforts.  It became
your
band and it was my privilege that you allowed me to be your teacher and band director.

It has been my privilege to get to know you.

Yours Truly,

Paul C. Hermann
Director Of Bands,
Tri-M Music Honor Society Advisor,
Fine Arts Department Chairman,
Roy Junior High School
The times we had at the good ol' T. D. M......
We came.................we played..........and played.............and played some more!
                                                                                               Then we ate.
What a great time!  And this got us our of having to do the upcoming
"Pass-Offs" in Mr. Hermann's band class.  What a fun way to get out of having
to take a test!
We made the greatest friends!
We have the best memories!
And we have the stuff to make
things right in this world!

It's always so sad...but it's time
to go now,
move on and take
life on
face to face!
It is time to move on now.  Just remember the words from that one song...
"Time is on my side."  Good luck and best wishes to all of you!  Enjoy life.
The time here is just too short not to.
 So, make it fun!!
